Marketing Hub is a desktop application used by Tal Haviv Studio to schedule and publish its own marketing content. It is not a service offered to the public and it has no user accounts.
What is stored, and where
All data is stored locally on the operator's own computer, in a database on that machine. Nothing is stored on our servers, because there are no servers. This includes:
- Draft and scheduled posts, captions and media files
- Publishing history and the performance figures the platforms report back
- Access tokens for the connected accounts
Access tokens
Tokens issued by TikTok, Facebook and Instagram are encrypted using the operating system's own secure storage before they are written to disk. They are decrypted only for the moment an API call is made, are never written to logs, and are never transmitted anywhere other than the platform that issued them.
What leaves the computer
Requests to the platforms you have connected, and nothing else. Specifically:
- TikTok: videos and captions you choose to upload, sent to your own TikTok inbox for you to review and post.
- Facebook and Instagram: posts and media you choose to publish.
- Instagram media hosting: Instagram fetches media from a URL rather than accepting an upload, so a file being published is briefly reachable over a private tunnel via a single-use unguessable address, which is revoked as soon as publishing finishes.
What does not happen
- No analytics, tracking, or telemetry of any kind
- No data is sold, shared, or sent to any third party
- No advertising, and no profiling
- Caption assistance runs on a language model on the operator's own machine
Data from TikTok
The app requests only user.info.basic (to display which account is connected) and video.upload (to send videos to your own inbox). It does not read your videos, your followers, your messages, or anyone else's content.
Retention and deletion
Data stays until the operator deletes it. Disconnecting an account removes its stored credentials. Uninstalling the application and deleting its local database removes everything. You can also revoke this app's access at any time from your TikTok account settings.
